2 Nights 3 Days Sri Lanka Package

Day 1 ARRIVAL (CMB) – PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA Once you reach the Colombo airport, you will be met by our HotelExpress.lk representatives. Thereafter transfer to Sigiriya En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. Pinnawala is one of the largest elephant orphanages in Sri Lanka, located at Pinnawala village. This orphanage was established by the Sri Lankan Wildlife Department in 1975 for abandoned and injured baby elephants. Then you will leave Sigiriya and visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. In the evening you will start an elephant back ride near the Sigiriya Lion’s Rock. A Habarana elephant back ride would be an incredible experience in your life. Also, you will be enjoying the views of nature and traditional lifestyles while on your elephant back ride in Habarana. At the end of the ride, you will return to your hotel.

Day 2 SIGIRIYA – KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA After breakfast you will start the tour in Sigiriya and climb the Lion Rock. The rock fortress is a most valuable historical site in Sri Lanka, built by King Kashapa in the 5th century. This rock is called Sigiriya and is also known as the Lion Rock. It holds a special place in the island’s cultural history and it is one of the UNESCO heritages in Sri Lanka. Thereafter you will proceed to Kandy and en route visit the Matale spice garden. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha in Kandy. Also, the driver will take you on a city tour in Kandy, including a visit to the Gem Museum and the traditional batik-making factory. At the end of your tour in Kandy, continue the journey to Nuwara Eliya, “Little England,” and visit tea factories and plantations. Late evening check-in at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3 NUWARA ELIYA – KITULGALA – COLOMBO – DEPARTURE (CMB) After refreshment, proceed to visit Gregory Park and Hakgala Botanical Garden. At the end of the tour, you will drive back to Colombo and visit Kitulgala Rain Forest with a water rafting tour. Kitulgala is the base for white water rafting in Sri Lanka. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years. In the afternoon you will start a city tour in Colombo, which includes a busy bazaar area, shopping, kovils, temples, Independence Square, BMICH, etc., and then, according to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport for the departure.
