Thailand Classic In 12 Days - Bangkok/Chiang Mai/Phuket

Day 1 Welcome to Thailand - Bangkok Arrival Begin your adventure in the vibrant city of Bangkok. As soon as you land at Bangkok airport, a driver with a board written with your name will be there to warmly welcome you. After a private transfer to your hotel, enjoy the rest of the first day at your leisure. Overnight Bangkok

Day 2 Explore the Bangkok Floating Market and Historic Site (B/L) Have breakfast at your hotel. 07.30 AM. Meet the English guide at the hotel lobby. Let's start with the Railway Track Market (Rom Hoop Market), commonly also called Siang Tai Market (life-threatening). The market is located on the railway near Mae Klong railway station. Proceed to the Damnen Saduak Floating Market. We arrive at the pier and with a longtail boat in about 30-45 minutes through the canals, we reach the floating market. Arrive at the market and enjoy local Thai products and Thai food at about 12:00 AM. Transfer back to Bangkok . Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, this tour takes you through the hustle and bustle of Bangkok to visit two of the capital’s most significant and visually stunning temples. Wat Traimit houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha (5.5 tons of precious metal) and Wat Pho, which is the oldest temple in Bangkok, houses the Reclining Buddha, a 45-meter-long statue that depicts Buddha entering Nirvana. Wat Pho is also Thailand s first university and houses a wealth of art. It is still an important center for traditional medicine and massage. Continue to Wat Benjamabophit, also known as the marble temple, featuring a fusion of Thai and European styles and an ubosot covered by Italian marble. Overnight in Bangkok (Meal: Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 3 Bangkok Leisure - Optional Excursion (B) Some free days you can use for taking optional tours, or just strolling around Bangkok for handicrafts and souvenirs, or maybe having yourself a spa treatment? KANACHANBURI: Depart at 07:30 and drive to Kanchanaburi, where we visit the war cemetery and the infamous bridge. Board the train for a ride on the Death Railway to Thamkrasae's gorge. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the city to visit the city for a boat ride on the River Kwai and a visit to the war museum. Return to Bangkok (ca. 18:00)

Day 4 Travel From Bangkok To Chiang Mai (B) Have a hearty breakfast at your hotel, and you can explore Bangkok at your own pace. Afterwards, our driver will come to your hotel and transfer you to the airport. Take a flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, our driver escorts you to your hotel. Check in at your hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 5: Explore the Golden Triangle (B/L) Breakfast. Early morning departure to Chiang Rai province (ca. 3.5 h). First visit the border city of Mae Sai before arriving at the Golden Triangle. Here we make a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit the Opium Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit the hill tribe village with the Aka, Yao and the Paduang Karen, or the Long Necks. Also visit the white temple of Wat Rong Khun and return to Chiang Mai (ca. 3 h). Arrival in the evening. Overnight Chiang Mai

Day 6 Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary Tour (B/L) Breakfast. Spend the day at an elephant rescue park (join basis). Morning pickup and join the transfer to the sanctuary. Arrive at the sanctuary and get briefed on the day’s activities for your one-on-one interactions with the rescued elephants. You will get to meet them, feed them, walk with them, hug them, play with them, and bathe with them. Enjoy the memorable day and transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon. Overnight Chiang Mai

Day 7 Free and Easy in Chiang Mai (B) Breakfast. Day at leisure. Overnight Chiang Mai Meal: Breakfast

Day 8 Travel From the Highland to The Beach Paradise (B) Breakfast. Private transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your flight to Phuket. Arrival Phuket airport and private transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight Phuket

Day 9 Ko Phi Phi By Speedboat (B/L) Pick up from hotel and transfer to pier. Arrive at port and be welcomed by your local guide. Group color, information about the tour program and weather. Departure from the pier to Phi Phi Island by speedboat. Visit Monkey Beach and enjoy taking photos. Arrive for swimming and snorkeling on the beach at Phi Phi Don Island. Enjoy a great lunch at a restaurant on Phi Phi Island and free time for leisure on the island. Visit the other famous Paradise emerald clear sea and bays for sightseeing: Loh Samah Bay and Viking Cave. Jump and swim at Pileh Lagoon. Sightseeing Maya Bay to take photos. Enjoy snorkeling and swimming (nearby Maya Bay area). Explore to Khai Island, a beautiful island with white sand beach and clear water Relax on the beach or swim and snorkel. Departure from Khai Island and return to the pier. And transfer back to your hotel.
