Day 1 Arrive Taipei Welcome to Taiwan! Today you will arrive in Taipei. Check in to your hotel then the rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 2 Taipei - Sun Moon Lake Travel to beautiful Sun Moon Lake. When you arrive in Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, you will take a tour to visit Ita Thao Indigenous Village, Wenwu Temple, Holy Monk Shrine, and Ci En Pagoda. Enjoy the natural hot springs at your hotel.

Day 3 Sun Moon Lake - Tainan - Kaohsiung After breakfast, travel to the oldest city in Taiwan, Tainan. Visit Fort Zeelandia and walk along Anping Old Street, known for its culinary delicacies. Continue to Kaohsiung and visit the sacred Fo Guang Shan Monastery to meet with a traditional monk.

Day 4 Kaohsiung - Kenting National Park - Taitung Explore beautiful Kenting National Park. On the way to your famous hot spring hotel in Taitung, you will also stop at the Eluanbi Lighthouse, Maobitou Scenic Area, and Longpan Park. ­

Day 5 Taitung - East Coast National Scenic Area - Yilan Enjoy a tour of the stunning East Coast National Scenic Area. This area is bursting with natural beauty for you to explore, including the terraced rocks. In the afternoon, continue to Yilan and check in for the night. ­

Day 6 Hualien - Taroko Gorge - Taipei / Yilan - Taipei Travel to the famous Taroko Gorge. The majestic gorge has been carved deep into the marble that is plentiful in the area. On your way back to Taipei, you will make a few stops to enjoy the natural scenery of the Swallow Grotto, Buluowan Suspension Bridge, Qingshui Cliff, and more. Travel to the famous Taroko Gorge. Please see the below revised itinerary for your reference: ­ Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Yilan, a region celebrated for its picturesque landscapes and hot springs. A short drive brings you to the first highlight of your tour, the Kavalan Distillery. Nestled in Yuanshan Township, the Kavalan Distillery is a must-visit for whisky enthusiasts. As Taiwan’s premier whisky producer, Kavalan has garnered international acclaim for its exquisite single malts. Next, continue your exploration at the National Center for Traditional Arts. This cultural gem showcases Taiwan’s traditional arts and crafts within a beautifully designed environment. Wander through artisan workshops, where you can observe master craftsmen at work, creating intricate wood carvings, delicate paper cuttings, and exquisite pottery. Spend time exploring the interactive exhibits and perhaps try your hand at crafting a unique souvenir. Back to Taipei for the overnight stay.

Day 7 Taipei—-Pinglin & Thousand Island Lake After breakfast, explore the sights of Taipei, including Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Martyrs’ Shrine, and the National Palace Museum. The afternoon starts with a tea tour in Pinglin District. You will taste the locally grown tea and savor its fresh and floral aroma and learn about the cultivation and making of Taiwanese tea from a tea farmer. After that, enjoy the stunning scenery of Thousand Island Lake. Return back to Taipei for the next four nights.

Day 8 Taipei - Yangmingshan Hot Spring—Taipei Explore the wonders of nature in Yangmingshan National Park. Yangmingshan National Park is the 3rd national park in Taiwan that covers a wide area of volcanic geological features, whereas the famous Beitou Hot Spring is nearby. A unique opportunity to explore these volcanic landforms, learn about the history of the development of Taiwan’s hot springs, and enjoy a relaxing hot spring foot bath.

Day 9 Taipei – Yehliu – Jiufen – Pingxi – Taipei After breakfast you will travel to the beautiful small town of Yehliu and enjoy the unique and different kinds of rock formations in Yehliu Geopark. Then explore Jiufen Village and the picturesque northeast coast. In the afternoon, travel to Pingxi for the beautiful sky lantern experience.

Day 10 Depart Taipei After breakfast, free at leisure until checkout. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
